@Adrenochrome so here’s a page that confirms the 58 degrees requirement but then it also says:

“Although truly rare, fire rainbows at night are easily spotted.”

This of course contradicts the 58 degree requirement. So I’m confused.

I was confused too, but Wikipedia to the rescue, again :)

The 58 degree elevation is mentioned there as well, but with the added info that also the moon at this elevation (if close to full) can produce the same effect.

Very beautiful, I've never seen it in person.

@airwhale @Adrenochrome @saeedwkhan the image posted by Amazing Nature is a photoshop job, as with most stuff posted by accounts of that type, but the phenomenon itself is real.
