Levels of scientific evidence

We worked with Dr. Katrine Wallace — an epidemiologist, educator and science literacy influencer — to produce a trio of resources focused on differentiating between different levels of scientific evidence.

@matthewfacciani @sociology @psychology @openscience Great chart! I often find myself thinking of levels of evidence along three axes: 1) from hypothesis to correlation to causation to mechanism, 2) from limited (e.g. lab model) to broad (e.g. large human population) scope, and 3) from small to large effect size. So the stages on the chart would fit on a three dimensional staircase (certainly harder to represent).
