#Google will start purging old accounts in December 2023. And worse, many #YouTube channels tied to inactive accounts will also be deleted too. Better start logging into your old accounts if you haven't already (and you'll get tracked too).

I can understand them deleting old accounts, but deleting old content seems like a bad idea. If people are still searching for and watching something, then why delete it? Lots of other websites where they link to or embed these videos will be affected too.
