I am amazed that "animal people" are excited about the Supreme Court decision concerning #Prop12. There's an exception that allows pigs to be confined 5 days before birth and throughout nursing, or for veterinary reasons, or for 6 hours per day for 4 days every month for any reason. And Prop 12 sold out egg-laying hens who are allocated 1 sq. foot of space. And this cost millions of dollars. "Animal people" who call this a "victory" are profoundly confused-at best. #Vegan #veganism -- Prof. Gary Francione
