Yeah, you heard me right, conservatives are saying that it's dangerous to allow young people to get a haircut or use a nickname because they might go on to transition.

This argument is made even more absurd by the fact that only a third of trans adults have accessed medical transition.

@e_urq Interesting. That would probably get to me - I'm in no way presenting trans, but I frequently go by a femme nickname online because one of of one of my early WoW characters.

That would probably get me sideeye from Certain Assholes.

@e_urq They are coming for everything that isn’t white male hetro Christian and when the rest of us are gone they will start sorting out the wrong type of Christians.

(Which is a good chunk of European history btw.)

This is why trans rights are human rights and human rights are important to all of us.
