@MeanwhileinCanada - even though I am Canadian and have been living in the US for over 20+ years. I think that’s a little unnecessary. The common misconception is that you’re going to be shot by stranger. That’s not the case - 90% of the time it’s somebody you know or have a connection (like classmates or co-worker).

@iamjstates @MeanwhileinCanada

" Get used to appeasing murderous assholes?" Is that the message you have for us?

@graphictruth @MeanwhileinCanada that is what the nation of the United States is willing to bear. It’s the second amendment. Please do not shoot the messenger.
@iamjstates @graphictruth @MeanwhileinCanada Over 200 mass shootings in 4 months. It’s not always someone you know.
@Craktok @graphictruth @MeanwhileinCanada don’t look at absolutes. I’m talking strictly probabilities. Random acts of violence involving strangers happen and will continue (with or without guns).
@iamjstates @graphictruth @MeanwhileinCanada you can look at it that way if you prefer, but I’m thinking of the hundreds dead already. That scares me.
