My impression is that the Italian TV landscape is facing a problematic situation. Independent journalism is increasingly limited to #La7 (News) and #SkyTG24.
The story is different with newspapers. #Corriere della Sera has traditionally always been aligned with the government in charge, and is now - sadly - doing the same, whereas #Repubblica and #LaStampa have a more independent line still. I personally see La Stampa having the best journalism at the moment, with lots of in-depth analysis.
