Il Fatto Quotidiano: Forza Italia è il nuovo programma delle reti Mediaset. E se al posto di Tajani andasse Gerry Scotti? | il commento
Marina e Pier Silvio Berlusconi ieri hanno convocato Antonio Tajani, ministro degli Esteri, negli studi Mediaset e con l’ausilio del mitologico Gianni Letta gli hanno ordinato cosa fare e cosa no in Forza Italia. Benché la notizia della proprietà del partito nelle mani della principale azienda televisiva commerciale italiana sia nota da più di trenmt’anni, continua con profitto la notizia medesima a illustrare bene il profilo sudamericano della nostra democrazia.
I Berlusconi, fratello e sorella (immaginiamo che gli altri tre rampolli siano stati avvertiti) non hanno ritenuto di valutare gli affari di Forza Italia in un albergo, in una casa privata o, peggio, nella sede nazionale del partito. Avrebbero trovato eccentrico che si discutesse di politica, di programmi e di nomi sui quali intendersi o dividersi in un luogo deputato a farlo, che so l’aula dei gruppi parlamentari a Montecitorio o al Senato.
I Berlusconi hanno voluto esibire la proprietà assoluta e indiscutibile sul partito, e dunque il loro ministro degli Esteri, che per una coincidenza è lo stesso dell’Italia, è solo un sub appaltatore facente funzioni del capo ditta. I Berluscones hanno anche voluto che partecipasse alla riunione anche l’amministratore delegato di Fininvest Danilo Pellegrino, proprio a dimostrare quel che è quel partito: il braccio televisivo nel Parlamento.
Mancava il direttore dei programmi ed è stata una svista che a noi dispiace perché si sarebbe potuto discutere se – visto come stanno le cose – al posto di Tajani non ci starebbe meglio un Gerry Scotti che tra l’altro già conosce il Parlamento, per essere stato eletto qualche decennio fa, e in più conduce con successo “La ruota della fortuna” e l’indimenticabile “Chi vuol essere milionario?“. Del resto chi sono gli elettori se non dei “cari telespettatori”?

Marina and Pier Silvio Berlusconi yesterday summoned Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani to Mediaset studios, and with the help of the mythical Gianni Letta, they ordered him what to do and not do in Forza Italia. Despite the news of the party’s ownership being known for over twenty years, the same news continues to illustrate well the profile of our democracy.
The Berlusconi brothers and sisters (let’s imagine the other three heirs have been warned) did not deem it appropriate to assess Forza Italia’s affairs in a hotel, a private home, or, worse, at the party’s national headquarters. They found it odd to discuss politics, programs, and names in a place designed for doing so, such as the parliamentary groups’ chamber at Montecitorio or the Senate.
The Berlusconis wanted to display absolute and undeniable ownership of the party, and therefore their Foreign Minister, who, by coincidence, is the same as Italy, is merely a subcontractor performing the duties of the head of the company. The Berlusconis also wanted the CEO of Fininvest, Danilo Pellegrino, to attend the meeting, in order to demonstrate what that party is: the television arm in Parliament.
The head of programs was missing, and it was an oversight that we regret because – given the situation – it would have been better for Gerry Scotti to attend instead of Tajani, who, incidentally, already knows Parliament, having been elected a few decades ago, and who also successfully hosts “Wheel of Fortune” and the unforgettable “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?”. After all, who are voters if not “dear television viewers”?
