ElizabethIt's pretty crazy how people nowadays forget how VCRs were made to record TV. Nowadays, the idea of recording a TV show is foreign to people. You just buy pre-recorded media, or more likely, stream things from somewhere.

@liz Personally, I have an #HDMI - #Recorder and I'm still pissed that #HDMI was adopted and not #SDI / #HDSDI for cabling outside of professional studios.
Cuz it's a pain in the ass to remove the value-removing bs that is #HDCP...
You know what was needed to record shit before #HDMI? A #SCART cable and a #VCR!
