So, it is just now coming to my attention that thanks to a complicit corporate media who doesn't talk about things like this, many Americans are confused re: CNN, its intentions, and why it had a town hall for a fascist. Let me tell you what they apparently are not telling you on the news:

A rich nazi bought CNN months ago and is pretending he's making it more like Fox to "be profitable." He is not. He's a rich nazi, spending his money the way rich nazis do - to spread nazisim.

For those who just pay attention to other news, e.g. entertainment, that's the same rich Nazi who immediately decided to kill the Batgirl movie, eliminate a great deal of WB's library, and effectively decimate the remaining projects. Kept Blood Libel Legacy, though.

Kinda interesting how a circle-jerking oligarchy always comes back to complete suckitude on all fronts, doesn't it?

John Malone is the chairman Liberty Media, not Discovery/Time Warner (who owns CNN). I wasn't aware that David Zaslav was a Nazi, but there are plenty of other reasons to not like Zaslav.

Newhouse, is a NYC-born Jew and definitely not a Nazi. The enshitification of WBD and CNN is a consequence of end stage capitalism, and has nothing to do with Nazis.

He is not one of the top ten investors in WBD either. The CEO of WBD is David Zaslav, a Brooklyn-born Jew and definitely not a neo-Nazi. Institutional investors own 58.40% of the total shares outstanding of WBD and the biggest individual investor, Steven O. Newhouse with 8.14%, is Jewish.

@AnarchoNinaWrites OK - I had to do some digging, you're not sharing much here. LOL.
Warner Bros, a publicly traded company, owns CNN, not Malone. But he is on the Board of Directors and likely a major shareholder, and has a lot of influence. His mandate seems for CNN to be less liberal, more centric. A wider range of news coverage, meaning #BothSideIsm I think. Means add more right wing content - possibly some Nazi supporters in there but doesn't make him one I think. However, since left wing seems to usually support logic and science more than right wing, the flavour will change and will be worrisome. It's another businessman shaping the media and people's minds to elect politicians that will increase his wealth.

@AnarchoNinaWrites And, CNN knows it. There's no reason why you should be surprised. Our "free" and "open" corporate media (which is not really ours) is absolutely terrified of being called fascists, while being eager to be fascistic. That is how modern fascism works; they want to be fascists, but still know it's potentially risky to just say "Yes, I am a fascist" or "Yes, I am a Nazi." They have been very flirtatious with that, sending the signals, but are not quite there yet.

Sounds to me you just dont approve of rich billionaires and don't approve of Trump. Well, I don't approve of either as well, so on that we agree.

But please don't go equating rich people you dont approve of as nazi's. The term Nazism means something and just randomly flinging such words around makes this site into Twitter 2.0, and I am not having that. Thanks

Licht was the EP for the Colbert Late Show. While this doesn't necessarily disprove where his sympathy lies, Colbert seems very liberal.

I am old enough to remember Ma Bell being busted up into the baby Bells. It's time to do that again. Foster some competition. And CNN's (now-fired) CEO was formerly the show runner for Late Night with Stephen Colbert, hardly a Nazi outfit. He got fired in large part because of the fallout of that town hall, maybe because of his Jewish boss being displeased.
