@MonaApp Por favor, nuevos iconos😐😐
Parece interesante la propuesta de poner los iconos de otras aplicaciones, pero, no encuentro la relación entre esos iconos y mastodon..
@MonaApp Saw the “new icons” on the release notes, and then… icons from other apps?? By now this kinda feels like a joke.
The app is unmatched, really, and I do appreciate all the work. If you don’t want to get new icons, icons that people have requested for so long, it’s your decision. Keep the Twitter app icon. But this? Meh move.
@MonaApp It looks like this release does not fix the problem with user agent randomisation that was reported earlier, which has Mona report invalid values for its own name and version, and the OS version it runs on?
Examples of UA string observed, version 5.1.1;
Mastodon/308 CFNetwork/1406.0.4 Darwin/22.8.0
Mastodon/337 CFNetwork/1406.0.4 Darwin/19.2.0
Mastodon/409 CFNetwork/1406.0.4 Darwin/25.3.0
Expected value;
Mona/41151 CFNetwork/1406.0.4 Darwin/22.4.0
Please fix this, it marks your client as untrustworthy, as it looks like it’s attempting evasion.

The thing that really makes me go ‘Hmm’ is the fact that, on every start of the app, it randomises the version sent in its user agent string, which is already a generic ‘Mastodon’ instead of the name of the actual client. Seen so far, all from the same machine; Mastodon/430 CFNetwork/1406.0.4 Darwin/22.9.0 Mastodon/478 CFNetwork/1408.0.4 Darwin/26.1.0 Mastodon/485 CFNetwork/1335.0.3.1 Darwin/19.7.0 Mastodon/518 CFNetwork/1406.0.4 Darwin/17.5.0 Mastodon/571 CFNetwork/1406.0.4 Darwin/24.1.0 This machine runs the Darwin 22.4.0 kernel, which is the latest. This suggests attempts at block evasion, which isn’t a good look 😒 3/ 🧵
