@MonaApp Is this also for those who own the full version of Spring?
@zav_ That’s right.

@MonaApp Btw a bug I have come across:

I am still receiving notifications (specifically post notifications) from an account that I have removed from the mona app for quite some time now

@zav_ Thank you for the report. A temporary solution: sign in to your account on the Mastodon website, then on the third party app settings page, remove Mona from the list.
@MonaApp Already a Pro Max user 😀
@MonaApp Paid! Thanks for the excellent work you do!
@MonaApp thank you for offering an amazing non subscription mastodon app! :)
@MonaApp just purchased! great features and much better price than the other paid apps.
@MonaApp @chamona The app is worth every penny, keep it up, excellent work!
@MonaApp Mona is OK. Got the pro max. Nice but I am noticing that I mostly use the mastodon app for windows. FYI. Mona release update for it today.
@MonaApp purchased! Thanks for the amazing work!!!
@MonaApp Will there not be any offers in the future?
@nayz No plan at this moment.
@MonaApp Just purchased after trying this app, love it so far, and has so many features I’m overwhelmed! Any plans for fun custom notification sounds?
@MonaApp Just discovered your apps, both Mona and Spring. Excellent apps. I am just curious how you managed to keep a full fledged Twitter client alive despite all the changing policies at Twitter, while all others (like Twitterific, Tweetbot) jumped ship.
@ridmaur @MonaApp Probably best he doesn’t explain how it’s being done though

@MonaApp Por favor, nuevos iconos😐😐

Parece interesante la propuesta de poner los iconos de otras aplicaciones, pero, no encuentro la relación entre esos iconos y mastodon..

@MonaApp Saw the “new icons” on the release notes, and then… icons from other apps?? By now this kinda feels like a joke.

The app is unmatched, really, and I do appreciate all the work. If you don’t want to get new icons, icons that people have requested for so long, it’s your decision. Keep the Twitter app icon. But this? Meh move.

@maique People keep asking for new icons, but the problem is that… I really like my current icon. 🥹
@MonaApp Cool, glad you do. Glad you’re happy 😊
@MonaApp @maique But you don't have to remove the current icon, but offer different alternatives, because, in my case, I relate the icon with Spring, and I think that, being different applications, there should be a bigger difference.
@aar0n @maique That’s fair. My idea is that when people looking at Mona or Spring on App Store, they can instantly tell that these two apps provide a very similar experience, and give existing users of each app a great confidence on their purchase of another app.
@MonaApp @maique And I understand your idea, and it makes all the sense in the world.
But, you can always keep the Spring icons, and have the default Mona icon be the same as the Spring icon, but then you can always offer a variety of alternative icons, so that the user who already has the application can change it to their liking.
@MonaApp Not sure if it's just me but Mona keeps showing up notifications from a few days ago in my notifications center, I have to clear notifications out manually. Any way to have notification center clear for Mona when I open it?
@MonaApp Sorry, disregard. I found the setting just now to auto-delete them.

@MonaApp It looks like this release does not fix the problem with user agent randomisation that was reported earlier, which has Mona report invalid values for its own name and version, and the OS version it runs on?

Examples of UA string observed, version 5.1.1;

Mastodon/308 CFNetwork/1406.0.4 Darwin/22.8.0
Mastodon/337 CFNetwork/1406.0.4 Darwin/19.2.0
Mastodon/409 CFNetwork/1406.0.4 Darwin/25.3.0

Expected value;

Mona/41151 CFNetwork/1406.0.4 Darwin/22.4.0

Please fix this, it marks your client as untrustworthy, as it looks like it’s attempting evasion.

Joni, like in Mitchell (@[email protected])

The thing that really makes me go ‘Hmm’ is the fact that, on every start of the app, it randomises the version sent in its user agent string, which is already a generic ‘Mastodon’ instead of the name of the actual client. Seen so far, all from the same machine; Mastodon/430 CFNetwork/1406.0.4 Darwin/22.9.0 Mastodon/478 CFNetwork/1408.0.4 Darwin/26.1.0 Mastodon/485 CFNetwork/1335.0.3.1 Darwin/19.7.0 Mastodon/518 CFNetwork/1406.0.4 Darwin/17.5.0 Mastodon/571 CFNetwork/1406.0.4 Darwin/24.1.0 This machine runs the Darwin 22.4.0 kernel, which is the latest. This suggests attempts at block evasion, which isn’t a good look 😒 3/ 🧵

@MonaApp Will the TestFlight version ever get this update? The super annoying update banner gets really stressful, but I would like to help testing. 😕
@kaiserkiwi For now please use the App Store version instead.
@MonaApp Thanks for adding the customization options for Magic Tap.
@MonaApp Thanks for adding the customisation for magic tap in this update, personally I like it on the default iOS action so I can play or pause whatever I'm listening too.
@MonaApp Awesome, can you please let us know when the Mac update is out?
@t3kk Once it’s approved by Apple.
@MonaApp Is the TestFlight version still being updated? Seem stuck on “Mona Berta 5 (40980)” on iOS?
@talios No update this time.
@MonaApp ahh - so TestFlight iOS version will just be older than the stable? Cool, guess I’m drop TestFlight then :)
@MonaApp Sweet - Pro Max for Spring upgraded - and now updating the desktop to the AppStore version as well ;)
