@sayomgwtf I remember that text adventures too. When I was young I always wanted to play the games we have now, but today, I try to make the C64 emulator work :)
@grobmeier Those were the days, spending an hour trying to figure out which one was the correct verb whether "turn on" or "use" or "switch" or whatever I'm sure I'm forgetting right now :p

@grobmeier I was a bilingual kid too! Now I'm just a bilingual dork who is constantly confused, verbs or no verbs IRL haha
@sayomgwtf I wasn't really bi-lingual, I just wanted to make those games work :) Anyway, now you can do all that art, and that's a great language too!

I have been thinking about the Steam Deck recently - is it good?
@sayomgwtf if you play less demanding single player games then it is 100% worth it. I haven't been this happy with a gaming purchase since I bought a 360 controller to play emulators in highschool. Get the cheapest model and a quality SD card (I got the Samsung EVO plus), look up a guide to move your shader cache to the SD card which takes 3 minutes, then you're good to go.
