I was just reminded that when I was a kid Marvel UK re-branded the Spider-Man comic god knows how many times in the space of a short few years:
Super Spider-Man & Captain Britain, Super Spider-Man, The New Spider-Man Comic, Super Spider-Man with the Super-Heroes, The Spectacular Spider-Man Weekly, Spider-Man & Hulk Weekly, Spider-Man & Hulk Team-Up, Super Spider-Man TV Comic, Spider-Man, Spider-Man & his Amazing Friends, Spidey Comic, Spider-Man Pocket Book, Spider-Man and Zoids,

@Richard_Littler Spider-Man and Zoids was a great comic. Loads of solid strips. I was annoyed that Zoids never made the leap to its own comic though.
@Richard_Littler Still doing a bit of that. They seem to spin off new Spidey books at the drop of a hat with the expectation most won't have a permanent run. Occasionally they really catch on & that's gravy.
@Richard_Littler The latter title's got to be down to the old UK comics tactic of 'hatch, match, and dispatch': merging a comic into a better-selling title once sales start to flag.
