I understand what @matt is saying here but I would not trust Apple to handle the data store/sync for my production files in any capacity. It isn’t just sync, it’s making sure that the storage would be adequately managed too. Never. Absolutely never. I trust Adobe to do this (and they bought Frame.io), not Apple. https://isfeeling.social/@matt/110339307669743329

@[email protected] I was really hoping this would involve some sort of cloud storage for projects so you could more easily work on a Mac, switch to the iPad, and then back to the Mac with all your changes synced across both versions. Maybe down the road.

@film_girl @matt You probably shouldn’t trust my aging memory, but wasn’t it Adobe that lost their customers online photos sometime back?
@MattO @matt no idea. But I’m talking about their professional customers so it’s a little bit different scenario. Frame.io, which they acquired, is a wonderful product
@film_girl @MattO Frame.io is amazing from what I hear. I know you can use that with Final Cut as well, although how much do you want to bet the iPad version of FCP won’t? 🙃
@matt @film_girl @MattO our whole internal and client feedback system is built around frame.io it’s an amazing peace of software. I can only recommend it
