A bit too far outside the box. We have the right to own muskets not weapons designed for killing people like the AR15, &AK 47. We the people can be more powerful than the Republicans and the gun lobby if we stand up and make some noise..we are not loud enough, so letās work on that. š£š¢

Mr T@georgetakei As an Aussie, we just shake our heads at the insanity that much of the US has become. I can see the US splitting up into two groups of states, where the sane people move out of the gun-nut redneck states like Texas, and eventually those crazy states end up being isolated from the rest of the country. Problem is, there are too many of them, so the country is going to split in some way at some stage. It can't go on like this, you seem to be having more shootings every year, hell, it's like reading news from a war zone, it really is. Something's going to give sooner or later, I just don't know what that will be, but I wouldn't want to be there when it does.
Tassie is nice, a bit cold at the mo, though! But pretty much all of Australia is saner than much of the US...

You can blame the companies, you can blame capitalism for making it profitable to sell death, you can blame a lot of thingsā¦ but blaming the countries where those companies were founded is a bit of a stretch.
@das_menschy @georgetakei Also, while itās true that those companies are BASED in Germany and Austria, all of them have US subsidiaries. It might not true that most of the guns used in the US were manufactured in Germany/Austriaā¦ just because the parent company is based in Germany/Austria doesnāt mean the actual manufacturing company that made a particular gun is. So it still comes down to being a US problem anyway.
