In Jan 2012, Leo instructed… Kellyanne Conway to bill a nonprofit group he advises & use that money to pay #GinniThomas…. The same yr, the nonprofit, the #JudicialEducationProject, filed a brief to #SCOTUS in a landmark #VotingRights case.

#LeonardLeo, a key figure in a network of nonprofits that has worked to support the nominations of conservative judges, told Conway he wanted her to “give” #GinniThomas “another $25K”….He emphasized that the paperwork should have “No mention of Ginni, of course.”
Conway’s firm, the Polling Co, sent the #JudicialEducationProject a $25k bill that day. Per Leo…,it listed the purpose as “Supplement for Constitution Polling & Opinion Consulting”

In all…, the Polling Co paid Thomas’s firm, Liberty Consulting, $80k between June 2011 & June 2012, & it expected to pay $20k more before the end of 2012. The docs reviewed by The Post do not indicate the precise nature of any work Thomas did for the Judicial Education Proj or the Polling Co.
