One of the things that quickly becomes apparent as you use #Bluesky is just how much work has gone into making #Mastodon a full function experience over the years.

It's also a good reminder of how much there is still left to build for any federated social media experience to become truly mainstream.

@mike Serious, I just got an invite last week to BlueSky. No DMs, no Hashtags, no dark-mode, and every time I open it, I seem to be at the top of my list. So I cannot continue from where I was. Mastodon is much more feature complete. And I really like the emoji stars/reactions on calckey.social.
