@chamby @ProPublica no, any other judge taking BRIBES would be subject to criminal prosecution. SVOTUS apparently is not beholden to any laws in our country and THAT is truly disgusting. The fact that the right wing only cares about law and order when it applies to their perceived enemies is equally appalling.

I had wondered where "irony" was hiding. She is alive and well in the conservative right. Their favor toward financial support for those that truly do not need it while denying basic support like food stamps and medical care for those that do is astounding! The title of your artcle should be the PROSTITUTION OF SCOTUS, perhaps not legal buf certainly immoral. The next poll on how Americans see the court should include a check block "with disgust."

Remember Scalia's hunting trip with a friend on the eve of said friend's business before the court? I do and wonder of our naivete. The court is indeed slanted to "I deserve mine, but the rest of you...not so much." Oh John Roberts, you do protest too much. Resignations should be reining in. It looks like Clarence Thomas pulled himself up by the proverbial bootstraps by accepting a massive amount bribe money. And of course, his conservative colleagues on the SC don't want outsiders looking into their grifting and corruption habits.

I want a job like that. Seems like it would be fun taking world class vacations and sailing on super yachts just for illegally voting to help the people that are bribing me.
