I hope the TV and film writers get everything they are asking for. Without them there’d be nothing to watch at all. And kudos for attempting to protect themselves against AI coming for their jobs. I wish graphic artists had similar power.

@gedeonm i think its just the beginning. Every industry is going to get hit by AI in the months ahead. Us graphic artist types will have our own AI issues to contend with. But as for writers - yes. good for them!!

I am afraid of the continuing trend of people just accepting less and less quality in the things they consume (or even need). It's just... happening. I am not looking forward to a time filled with AI written scripts and ... I don't even know what to call it.

@gedeonm I don't think this is true. The workers needs the business they are working for. Without the business that the boss have, the employee would not have access to the machinery or the technology, or the market that they have. Therefore,they couldn't even produce. That is unless they become a business on their own and buy equipment. Or they could voluntarily form a worker cooperative. But then they would become their own bosses.
