Last year we bought a heat pump hot water heater, and saved $900 between the tax refund and the DCSEU rebate, and it's only going to be better this year.

@sojourn unfortunately, renters are left out of these incentives. I have a good situation (my landlord plans to live in this house in a few years so keeps it well repaired/modern) but there's no incentives for him, either.
