On the observed birthday of William Shakespeare, here’s a very personal reflection by the actor Simon Callow. He’s one of my favorite actors, but I feel a personal connection because one Sunday morning more than a decade ago, I was in London and spotted him walking briskly toward me. Not wanting to intrude, I wished him “good morning,” with a smile, which he returned.
