When I read a book on HTML *3* in 1995 there was already ASP and PHP IIRC but the tableless movement had not gathered strength yet and CSS was a footnote if anything at all 😆

HTML 5 and CSS 3 may seem frugal but at the same time they are they are are very modern

@lffontenelle I remember the 90s very well, it was around 1997 when I created my first website and tables were still a thing. I remember creating table cells for corner images that were gifs with transparency, to get rounded corners to a container. Good times.
