Too bad @playersaidalex and @theplayersaidgrant and @zillablitz don't spend much time over here. But I get it, their 🍞 and 🧈 is where the 💰 is and that's on 🐦. Thing is, 🐦 really has become a veritable pile of 💩💩💩 and that makes me very 😢.

I'm eager to be someplace else, and am hopeful that in the long run protocols like ActivityPub can solve the current state of social media.

In the meantime, I'm trying to post in multiple places, but the other place has more activity, tbh.

I totally understand. This environment is like a little "local" social club and Twitter is part of the global content creation monetization system... I'm just being selfish because I want to leave Twitter but don't want to leave my fav wargaming content creators. This Mastodon env has really grown on me and I wish it got the activity that Twitter does.

@gitano @playersaidalex @theplayersaidgrant I'm pretty hopeful that social media is going to morph into a more platform independent type of thing (like Mastodon) where your content belongs to you and not to an app. I'm also hopeful this platform grows too. I will think about posting more Mastodon-exclusive stuff, and I'm thinking to move to the wargamers.social server in a couple of weeks.
