PeteThe new field manuals for Fields of Fire are looking good. I think they’ll help folks who bounced off earlier versions of game. Took a while for GMT to get to this point but they’re doing a good job getting the game up to the standards of their more recent productions.

What's your take on "offering to concede a wargame" in a recreational setting? Is that good or bad form when someone offers to concede? I tend to get annoyed if someone offers to concede in a wargame if there's even a remote chance they could pull off a win. I feel like the offer of concession is a cheap way to try to end the game without facing defeat on the game's terms and therefore rob the opponent of a legit win. Granted, in any kind of competitive setting, a win is a win... I'm talking strictly recreational.
Welp, I went and got Final Girl. Wow, what a system. For my first... stab at it ... I'm trying The Rachet Lady, Wolfe Asylum and Heather. Seems perhaps not a great intro to the game. Lots of moving parts here.
Heart of Darkness. Very interesting and unique system. Just getting started. Need to get more turns in to gauge this one.
Man am I pissed. Had a delivery of '65 Squad Level Combat today and it was stolen off my front porch within an hour of delivery. Damn that burns me up!

Some Terraforming Mars AE with the wife. A very fun, tense and brain burning game. Highly recommended.
