I love this rapid development of clients with their own take on presentation. https://windbag.org/@adam/110239527703887847

I love that there is experimentation going on around web interfaces for #Mastodon. So far I've used: ⭐ https://elk.zone is a familiar old friend for former Twitter users, with great polish and some excellent color scheme customization. ⭐ https://phanpy.social has an "opinionated" UI that groups frequently boosted posts, handles nested threads nicely, and is my current go-to for catching up when I've been away for a while. What other web UIs am I missing out on?

Mastodon

I'm still shopping around a lot for mobile clients.

On the desktop I've mostly been using the standard Mastodon UI, but to be fair, it's pretty lacking and I feel all these other web-based clients popping up are rapidly overtaking it in features.

Some more #Mastodon clients I'll give a shot over time:

Akkoma - https://akkoma.social/
Calckey - https://calckey.social/ (edit: this is not actually Mastodon, but still in the Fediverse)

Honestly, the amount of options already out there is pretty overwhelming.

OK, digging Phanpy (https://phanpy.social/) a lot already. Very interesting UI design.

Minimalistic opinionated Mastodon web client

Just check out the view for threads. I always got annoyed by people manually numbering posts on the bird site.
