I saw this on the ABC news while I was having my teeth checked and it was all I could do to not laugh right out loud into the dentist's face:

https://www.theguardian.com/media/2023/apr/21/lachlan-murdoch-drops-defamation-proceedings-against-independent-australian-publisher-crikey

So, now that I'm clear of that:

AH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH!

The best bit was when Lachlan apparently said that he knew they would win in the courts but he'd decided to stop the lawsuit because Crikey was making money off it.

AH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH!

Oh Lachlan, I didn't realise you were a stand-up comedian! That's just too good! Really!

No, please, go ahead, if you're so confident Lachy old mate, you go right ahead and sue Crikey. You want to be proven right? Prove it in court!

Oh, wait, what, you're not actually that confident? Could it that be, oh, I don't know, because just the initial findings in the Dominion case made you and your dear daddy look so like corrupt venal mercenary hack liars who are so afraid of the rabid audience you've whipped up that you will say anything and force your hosts to say anything, even lie outright, as long as it keeps your ratings and stops the lynch mob coming for you?

Could it be that? Who knows?
