@voltagex @benschwarz I switched from LIFX to Hue and they’re way more stable and I haven’t seen shit like this yet. No ragrets so far.

@daisy @voltagex as an aside, lifx has been flawless since I got “mesh” wifi. The thing that turned me off hue is the wifi box thing you need as well!

@benschwarz @voltagex Yeah that was the reason I went LIFX at first, but I’ve had connectivity problems with lights that were 1-2m from my WAP.

As for the box, in theory the Hue bulbs will work with any Zigbee hub (that’s not vendor locked), but I’ve yet to test that.

@daisy @voltagex good to know! I’m so reluctant to buy any smart devices because they’re never smart enough to work with every ecosystem. I was hoping it would be better by now 💀

@daisy if I can get my Zigbee stuff stable I might give it a crack - there's currently one Zigbee bulb in here that can't be reset or rejoined to any network.
