Unfortunate news, it appears that #CurrentlyWeather, which runs a semi-federated #Mastodon instance, (#ProjectMushroom, with public side of spore.social) seems to be shutting down. I hope they have the decency to let their users migrate to other instances (!). Unless they plan to keep running Project Mushroom? (they fundraised for the expenses for that instance). #MastoAdmin

@ai6yr I can't say I'm shocked. I signed up for Project Mushroom just in case it turned into something useful, but I was never clear on what its rationale was. The folks at Currently seemed to mean well, but execution and follow-through seem pretty haphazard on all their projects
