Your two minutes just set me back 2 hours. Sadly, this was a concept I could not get people to understand when I worked in IT. I'd ask people to ask themselves "Is this interruption worth losing an hour of this company's revenue?" Even phrasing it that way, management never got it.
I don't miss that job.

@bitlevel Pshaw! I do this to myself! Leave one room, go to another to do something. Something catches my eye or I think of something kinda abstract. Whatever, it takes over. Original thought, gone. And often to the place of no retrieval. But the original "do something" had meaning, had thought behind it, was worthy!
The "what was I doing?" or even "what was I going to do?" vanishes into the vapours. My own worst enemy, I am sometimes...
What were we just talking about???
