I have somehow forgotten to tell this story: When I went to the shelter to get Miso, they interviewed me and asked if I have three cats, why I wanted another cat. And I said that I just had a shitty year and I was pissed about the election and I thought a cat would make me happy. The woman said, same, I get a cat every time that I’m upset too and that’s why I have 8 cats. That’s when I learned that getting cats are not a sustainable coping mechanism.

Why, when I accept an invitation to a recurring meeting, does Outlook add events in the past to my calendar? The arrow of time moves only forwards!

jeepers, ellen burstyn has been in show biz a long time. watching "gunsmoke" and she stole every scene she was in. also, i did not realize that was dennis weaver! i met dennis weaver once when i was in 6th grade. i was watching my parent's (dad & stepmom) studio (they were artists). he came in and i recognized him right away but played it cool. he looked around and ended up buying a fairly large painting. i told my dad "i should'a asked for his autograph!" and my he said "you did get his autograph, on the check."

The Franklin County Municipal Court, who sends out snail mail that says things like "You have been summoned as a juror and will be arrested if you don't appear" and has a QR code on them which you're supposed to scan, has the following domains:

https://oh.ezjustice.us/jury/fcmc
(all legitimate, as far as I can tell). They are having problems with scammers sending out documents claiming to be from them with, ahem, other QR codes, trying to extract money from the victims. I can't imagine why anyone would be confused!
