Good morning!
I've just posted an article on LinkedIn called "How to approach #Marketing on #Mastodon?"

I know it's a touchy subject. We do not really like ads on the network. However, I am making the point that, on #Fediverse, the most important aspects of a toot are quality, giving to the community through quality of interactions, and inclusivity.

With the rise of the network, it's a matter of time until we see large companies trying. (1/2)

How to approach Marketing on Mastodon?

You might have heard about it in many places over the past few months.: Mastodon and its distributed ecosystem this the new kid on the block for microblogging.

I am trying to influence the behaviour on the platform to not destroy our values.

If you can, read it, and if you agree, try to reshare it to as many people as possible (LinkedIn, Mastodon, even Twitter if you must :)).

Let's attempt to guide these big players to interact in a constructive way.

Thanks a lot for your #help!

@dimi Would love to see some mention of using CWs as "Content Wrappers", as the names of things don't always reflect how they're used here :)

@kristinHenry I've never heard it referred that way, but I think it completely makes sense. I'll update the article once I m in front of a computer tomorrow.

Thanks!

@dimi I have some good articles explaining CWs pinned. They are a great place to start.
