Looking around in #RSS forums, a few people want to stay "connected" to #Twitter for #socialmedia monitoring purposes.

I am just pleased to be away from the madness.

However, for the time being, until they are disconnected, some are using Nitter as an RSS feed ie Nitter URL / Twitter Username / RSS/ - some RSS readers rejected it due to funky XML.

@stevendrowe I used to use Bibliogram and Feeder for a custom IG feed but IG put restrictions on it. Not sure if Bibliogram works anymore.

@seateah It works in a limited fashion in NewsBlur but not at all in NetNewsWire. The feeds only contain around 10 items, looks as though there is an issue updating.

Twitter RSS via Nitter?

Works for me, too. I just changed the RSS feed in Newsblur from https://twitter.com/username to https://nitter.net/username/rss. The only problem is that I get just 10 posts.

kde akregator works just fine. QuiteRSS will read Nitter RSS but is prone to crashing independently.

@stevendrowe #Nitter works well with the #Telegram Feed Reader Bot (to receive #RSS feeds as instant messages: https://t.me/TheFeedReaderBot)

Hope it will last!

Feed Reader Bot

The Feed Reader Bot monitors RSS feeds, and sends messages when new posts are available.
