La france a commencé sa spirale descendante après ce 🐷 de louis 14 decide de la fin de l edit de nantes et donc de la fuite des sciences et avec le genocide protestant.

A talk show. The host starts, "You used to be a girl, and now you're a boy." View cuts to 2 men as host continues, "and you're happy." The guy on the right says, "Yes, I'm really happy," with a big smile. Then guy on the left says, "Sure, but listen, Jesus--" And the host cuts in with a definitive, "Can it."

Camera cuts back to the host, who says, "And that's Flash Debate. See you tomorrow."

I love how after the "and now you're a boy", the right guy has a sad face and does the "I guess" body language thing with a slight sad face, a small shrug and a dismissive "well, sure" guesture with his hands. Then comes the "... and you're happy", wherein he just lights right up. So much joy there, just shining out for the whole world to see, from what was a "well this is going to suck" intro.

@kagan @sutdan It's not an actual talk show. The "host" is Jules-Édouard Moustic. "Groland Info" is a the France Info (historically a French radio station, more recently TV news channel too) of Groland (a fictional country that sounds like "fat land" and the eponymous program created more than 30 years ago, with humor ranging from practical poop-/vomit-based to witty political jokes).
