Using Lightroom / ACR for converting raw files is like having a michelin star dinner, but mopping the floor with it, before eating.
If photographing anything with human (skin) or fashion, there is no alternative to capture one.

@taste there's capture one and luminar but yeah they don't come close.
I just despise it's adobe, and it has major performance issues even on high end hardware.
yes, but anything big campaign advertising xor fashion is 100% capture one and edited in photoshop after conversion. Nothing else. And no, monopoly are not a good thing.
One exception might be Leica, which has good skin tones in ACR, but in reality no professionell fashion photographer is using Leica.
