Part of this article covers how Twitter is essentially deboosting tweets and hiding DMs when someone uses the word trans, transgender, queer, gay, lesbian, and bisexual. Again, this is eliminationist. By making even the most basic words to describe who we are into some kind of taboo naughty word bullshit, they seek to make even an acknowledgement of our existence controversial.

@graygoogirl I mostly agree with the sentiment, but as a wise person said:

CWs are about consent, not censorship.
If you're not using CWs for a reason like this, you're doing it wrong.

I chose not to CW this because I'm tired of cis people ignoring anything they see with the transphobia CW. And yes, it is a form of self-censorship. The fact is this post wouldn't be doing numbers if it was CW'd.

@piegames As an end user can set filters for things you want content warned and it'll automagically add a content warning. You're literally complaining about something that isn't an issue.
