@dave I just follow the #3dprinting hashtag so I see it in my home timeline. I also keep it in a column. From there you can decide to follow people.

Just follow the hashtag #3dprinting really.

Enter the full hashtag in the search, then click on the figurine to the right of BACK - and the + should change to an x when you have subscribed.

Lots of interesting posts on many different aspects of 3D printing. 🙂
