@drantjegamble @Popehat asked by whom? This does such a disservice to young people and their education. Growing up in New York I used to go to The Met with my mother but also on school field trips, and yes there was nudity in the art. I know the head of the school board was planning on speaking derisively about New York (he had to settle for Virgina instead) so he probably thinks this was a mistake and I wasn’t mature enough for it. But he would be wrong.

@drantjegamble @Popehat where you are? A school where the objective is to teach. What do they think will happen if *high schoolers* see nudity? This idea that nudity is inherently sexual and need to be protected from art is ridiculous. And one can only assume if they see this is a problem, sex-ed is a no-go. Oof I’m sorry—for you, and the students
