I already looked at /e/, a degoogled Android ROM a while back, but now, it's time to try something closer to stock Android, with added privacy: @iode.

Not only does it give you a fully open source experience in terms of apps, but it also blocks all trackers and ads by default, in all apps, with a stock Android experience.

@thelinuxEXP @iode a couple of big flaws for me at least in the US is that deGoogled ROMs don't support my banking and usually strip support for hardware 2fa keys like NitroKey or Yubikey, does Iode have this support? I'm seriously considering switching to an iPhone at this point.

@thelinuxEXP Nick I remember your review on another ROM a while back saying similar about your banking app back then too. That same ROM even with microG refused to install my banking app.
