Change of view for today's #WeirdCarMastodon #NameThatCar challenge with a view of the wing of this car. If yesterday's Datsun was thing that has become rare the badge on the wing of this coupe would suggest it might have been rare to begin with!

@DazzlingDamo: *grin* No, I had no real idea where to start. Just the font of the badge and the style of the turn indicator pointed towards to late 80s. I started with Jags and Aston-Martins. But to my surprise the suspected solution was much more familiar to myself than British luxury cars.

This seems to be from the iconic '90s BMW 850i coupé.

Interestingly I found only a single picture of an 850i with a V12 badge… in your favourite car collection. 😉

@DazzlingDamo: The more I think about this V12 badge, the more I think it's an generic add-on badge added by a likely previous owner of that car.

Hence, I think the number plate of that car is "J377 TTF" and the chassis number is "WBAEG22080CB57722". 😁 (SCNR)
