I question the conventional wisdom that DeSantis would be better than Trump. I've yet to see any evidence he's less cruel than Trump, and every aspect of his adult life, continuing into the present, suggests he's even *more* cruel.

@maxkennerly DeSantis is more dangerous, than the organized crime boss Donald Trump, in many ways. Trump is in it for grift, Fascism is just another tool to him. DeathSantis is about ideology and a Hitler want-a-be but he knows how the apparatuses of government work and how to effectively use them to implement his world view.DeSantis is calculating. Trump blunders through it. Trump will move on from a thing if he doesn't get a cut off the top, in true mob fashion
