Theory tells us that before we open the box Schrodinger's cat is both alive and dead, in a superposition of states.

Open the box, however, and you find either a living cat or a dead cat. Is it some magic in the human mind that forces the physical world to conform to our expectation? Does the cat's own mind suffice?

This is The Measurement Problem.

@crtaxon Does my previous sacrifice suffice. I promise I wasn't aware of my entire purpose, when this venture was first per posed. I only had hints, teasing along my senses like the shadows of falling dusk, illuminating no more than a hand span, in front of my faltering footsteps. In order to solve this puzzle, please remember that, back then I didn't have the answers you know to be fact.
