@denny if BBC News had journalistic integrity they would look at the language the government are using and compare it with what Nazi Germany used in the 1930s, and bring in a few political and social scientists and anthropologists, and experts in hate language and the rise of fascism, and come to some reasonably objective conclusion. Rather than attacking the person.

But, y'know, BBC News has had "illegal Channel crossings" in its headlines for multiple days this week, even though it's not illegal to cross the Channel. They're using the same language as the government, without challenging it.
