Gotta say, taking the time to build a single button build-and-push script for Unreal turns out to have been 100% worth it. Being able to hit a button, walk away to lunch, and then BOOP I see a patch download on the Steam beta branch and there we go, build live? Fully automated? God, it's magical.

I used to do this BY HAND. Like an animal.

@glassbottommeg I made one of those for Game Director Story a while ago. Not a button but a shell script, but it did everything up to and including MacOS codesigning, and tagging the uploads with the version, branch, and git hash…
@glassbottommeg build automation is just a must. It's such a boring PITA, but you save so much time later, and the luxury of just booping a button to make everything happen is better than whisky and a warm bath followed by an unreasonably fluffy robe in mid winter.
@glassbottommeg Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, some people actually enjoy doing those things and I am one of those) haven't done it with unreal engine, but sounds like a fun project to do
