Inspiration for today's drawing came from one of my favorite coffee cups: a 'coral' cup by @nervous_jessica. It's really more of a tea cup, but I usually drink coffee out of it.
As I started working on the drawing, it reminded me of a Golgi Body (from Cell Biology)...so I went more in that direction.

One thing I love about Science is that the more of it you study the more you see repeating patterns. Today's drawing is influenced by both Chemistry and Neuroscience.
