I'm a spider--a web-weaver. I love connecting folx. #Witches, #writers, #climate and #justice #activists . . .

My latest is bringing #solarpunk and aligned thinking and action into classrooms. Especially for #sustainability #education. I'm collaborating with people on an international project to do that.

Who is doing similar work--all grade levels and universities? If that's you, let me know! Maybe we can create a list of solarpunks (and friends) in education to keep weaving that web.

@BrightFlame @wormerama yes! I am a #ClimateWeaver too (a term used in paper by Rebecca Willis et al, about different types of #ClimateAction) and I would love to be in. I am in the process of setting up a new MA in #regenerative #Anthroplogy in Practice, where i hope to integrate #SolarPunk as much as possible. You and others, btw, might also like to contribute to our collective #ClimateDiary here on Mastodon - a #Writing weaving project! Do check it out - still small but really interesting

@pvonhellermannn
I hadn't heard the ClimateWeaver term--thanks for sharing that!

I'd noticed #ClimateDiary, but hadn't known its source. Just took a look at your original thread about it. I'll chime in periodically and follow the tag.

Let's see who else chimes in about using #solarpunk in classrooms.

@BrightFlame yes! I am due to meet with my childrenโ€™s geography teacher next week, will mention #Solarpunk then. I used to (try to) do some work with local schools; not any more since back to full time uni teaching (no time), but still really interested. And yes, do check out #ClimateDiary - really recommend searching hashtag and reading all posts together, so interesting in itself, the different things people write about, and often very moving
