Elon Musk and Donald Trump both refuse to pay their bills.

They don’t keep their word, stiff other people, and then position themselves as “geniuses” in business.

This seems like a pattern.

And they don’t seem like geniuses. They just seem like shitty people? 🤷‍♂️

@eddie1perez And shitty people like them.
@eddie1perez
They know capitalism is over, the last game of monopoly is being played
@eddie1perez Seems like colonizer behavior. Rooted in privilege and the presumption that one’s own needs outweigh the needs of anyone else. They are the “other,” therefore of lesser importance. Interesting how in both case it was modeled for them by their fathers, too.
@eddie1perez And let's not forget their other shared trait: an incessant need for attention - even if it's "bad" attention.
@eddie1perez @dangillmor “seem” is doing an awful lot of work in that statement.

@eddie1perez that's being kind. They are sociopathic frauds, and should be prosecuted as such.

The world for decades was sold on the idea of the 'captain of industry' who is beyond mortal ken, when really they just keep getting a pass because folks hope to be like the Steinbeck quote about the poor and middle classes seeing themselves not as an exploited group but as "temporarily embarrassed millionaires"

White collar crime deserves the same sentencing as blue.

Obliterate the facade.

@eddie1perez "And they don’t seem like geniuses. They just seem like shitty people? 🤷‍♂️" Holy shit this is accurate

@eddie1perez

Speaking of twitter stiffing other people pretty much explains that twinge in my neck when I tweet

@eddie1perez
SpaceX has done great things. They have inspired other people to do, or at least try great things. Tesla has been a leader too.

That is not to say that Musk is not a shitty person, I don't find him admirable. But he has done some things that are admirable.

@eddie1perez agreed, not honoring your commitments is a shitty thing only con artist do.

Literally everything in Musk’s life was lied about. He didn’t even have the degrees he claimed he had (they were just synergized to him by a committee of investors), so most his college stories are fake anyway.

I can’t believe I was once so Musk-brained that when reading his shitty biography I thought “well, this first chapter focusing on the countless of ways Musk tried to stop anyone from writing a biography about him certainly isn’t a red flag whatsoever”

@eddie1perez that is the secret to success, don't pay tax, don't pay your bills, screw everyone over & then say "it's only business" don't pay your workforce properly, employ vulnerable people who you can blackmail, steal other people's ideas, only buy them if you have to, either way put your name on them, pretend it was yours in the first place, sue anybody who says otherwise, in fact threaten to sue everyone who you want to silence, build up a cult to protect you, take government subsidies.
@eddie1perez Not paying your bills & exploiting others while being grandiose about yourself are all classic narcissistic traits & they both are that!! Attention of any kind is their oxygen! Best response for a narcissist is zero attention—ZERO!!!🤷‍♀️It would be SO helpful if their “worshipping” followers, who are totally being ripped off, knew that!! 🙈
@eddie1perez When are we, as a species, going to get over this love affair with sociopaths? It worked great in the middle ages when the king was a sociopath. After all, winning in battle was the only thing they needed from him. Sociopaths give the appearance of competence. They can make life or death decisions without breaking a sweat because they don't believe you are human. Post Enlightenment, however, there is little use for them. Yet some of us continue to fawn over them. #MuskMAGAts
@eddie1perez They should probably get a room.
