@Xavier here’s a video of George Daniels who invented it explaining how they work: https://youtu.be/0UOU36cJgZY - the short version is that it reduces friction where it matters most in a movement, which makes things more reliable, need less service, and less lubrication. Omega seems to have gone all in on using them
