Not directly but it's been a trope for me since high school and college with either my dad who had a million power tools doing it or friends with a bunch of computer peripherals doing the same thing haha. I still have a plastic tote with cables that I'll probably end up in this scenario with next time I move though... 😅

Hughster@Chigaze After many years of hoarding these things I finally found a use for one recently in converting some battery-powered kitchen scales to mains-powered. Out of all of them, only one had the right voltage, current mode, polarity and tip size. I saved at least a couple of dollars. Keep the faith!
