I guess the takeaway is that if you're confident and obnoxious with no sense of context, you get anything you want.

I'm impressed at the NYT Elizabeth Holmes puff piece. The author fell for the most vapid, obvious PR push from a felon whose fraud misdiagnosed people's medical conditions, but the author managed to keep her well-paying job.

Maybe I should quit dev and just start lying in print - sounds a lot easier!
