um, getting nervous now —
@inoneear when do I get to be the old weirdo with a home studio? That sounds like the best life ever compared to all this burned out disappointment
@inoneear I disagree, life isn't that linear and simplistic.
I'll get older and I'll fit in the third phase but, on the inside, I'll never stop being a burned out disappointment.
@inoneear *looks around my studio and laughs nervously*
@inoneear woke up this morning and realised I'm just under the uppercase A for Artist. So that's a thing now
@inoneear I am embracing my old weirdo phase
@inoneear lol!!! love this. am finding many new fans of my work in my old weirdo i don't give two craps artistic last phase. even make steady money from my work now. who knew?
@inoneear actually enjoying being an old weirdo with a home studio
@inoneear Wait how long do I have to be a burned out disappointment for?
@inoneear @mxtthxw Literally just ordered a studio desk.
@inoneear hugely looking forward to achieving the old weirdo stage here. Is going to involve building a huge shed, or possibly two sheds, as my wife also has this issue.
@inoneear my home studio is coming along nicely, why do you ask?
@inoneear Working in music full-time the past 5 years and loving every second of it. First album comes out in April.

@inoneear

Burning out implies that I accomplished a bunch of shit first. That would be a TREAT!

Going on a prolonged anxiety-and-no-funds-induced hiatus (represented by that bracketless space in the middle) means that I'll never be caught up enough to burn out before the end arrives. 🥳

@inoneear @maique firmly in the home studio phase of my life
@cdevroe @inoneear I dream of having one! 😅
@inoneear Not just artists. Anybody who was ever called "gifted" as a kid. (We should stop doing that to kids.)
